Our family-run pub dates back to 1635

We are proud to be the oldest pub on Poole Quay.

Originating from 1635 and steeped in history this distinctive green tiled pub on the quayside is popular with locals and tourists alike. Pews, the bar and wood panelled walls adorned with old Poole photographs dominate the small cosy single room interior, while bench seating at the front provides a great place to watch the many activities taking place on the quay. A fifth beer is available during the busier summer months while the menu is extensively locally sourced seafood, for which it is one of the best in the area.

The Poole Arms has been run by the same family since February 2004 - over 20 years now!

Bob and Maureen Kerr, Michelle's parents took over running the Poole Arms in 2004 after running other local pubs in the area since the 1970s.

Michelle has always worked alongside her parents and when they retired in 2016 Michelle and her husband Carl took over the running of the Pub.

So you are in safe hands when it comes to delicious home-cooked fresh and tasty cuisine and a great pint of ale!

Michelle's favourite tipple - Picpoul de Pinet (delicious white wine)
